The last race of the NODRA season at the TX Motorplex was canceled this past Saturday due to rain. Cory Mac won the NODRA Championship by winning Phoenix, Denver and was runner up at the spring race in Dallas.
Cory Mac defeated Todd Simpson in the final 4.53 to 5.11. It was a tough day on the mountain with temperatures in the mid 90's and the track temperature reaching as high as 130 degrees.
Del Worsham wins the NODRA event at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX.
Del Worsham in his CP- Carrillo, Toyota Camry Funny Car defeated Cory Mac in the Colorfast, Nut Up Industries, Top Fuel Dragster in the final race of the day with a 4.55 to a 4.59. The 135-degree track temperature made it a tricky track all day. Del Worsham out pedaled Jack Wyatt to advance to the final. Cory Mac defeated Bill Litton in the Semi Finals.
The Top Fuel and Funny Cars are now even after two events with Cory Mac winning Phoenix and Del Worsham winning at the Texas Motorplex.

Cory McClenathan gets the win in the inaugural NODRA race at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, AZ.
McClenathan defeated Jack Wyatt with a 4.08 at 301 mph. to 6.72 at 114 mph.
It was a Top Fuel vs Funny Car final where McClenathan left on Wyatt and never trailed in the race.
“This was a great win for the crew and Dexter Tuttle,” Cory Mac said. “To win the inaugural NODRA race in a Top Fuel vs. Funny Car final was pretty cool.”
The next race on the NODRA tour will be at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX on April 28.
